School Camp Quotes

Jane Danielson, Deputy Principal and Parent - Willowbank School wrote:

Hi Jeff and staff
My son has been on the Year 6 camp from Willowbank School this week. He was a looking forward to coming to camp but a wee bit concerned that he might miss us. His first words getting off the bus this afternoon were "it was awesome, they do holiday camps, can I go?" and he has spent this evening telling his friends all about the camp and checking it out online.  I know from being at camp with previous years kids how great the experience is but have always viewed it from a teacher perspective rather than a parent perspective. I have been blown away at how much he enjoyed the camp and how much he got from it.  He had an awesome week - thank you!

Hi, just thought Id drop you a line after our visit with Morrinsville Intermediate last week. I think I enjoyed the camp more than the kids, it was fantastic and I cant speak highly enough of the activities, the staff, the food, the discipline was great while allowing plenty of fun time, for me ending in the highlight of the survival night with Mr Dundee, the mans a legend, his politicaly incorrect manner and intolerance of crap from kids together with his genuine pleasure in seeing the kids achieve was a pleasure to be part of, and his story telling was amazing, a lost art indeed. Also my daughter won 50 bux on the Frisbee Golf Hole in One Challenge so all good, we both suffered camp withdrawls on saturday, the best active holiday Ive had in years, top stuff
Cheers Shane. November 2010

Hi Christine, we had a FANTASTIC and thoroughly ENJOYABLE time at camp.  We will certainly be recommending it to other schools.  You have a fantastic staff and the children were certainly provided with a great assortment of activities.  They are still buzzing about it. May 2009

Quote from Biddy Standeven from Greenmeadows Intermediate:

Thank you for an excellent camp. We all had great fun and the food was SO good. Please express my thanks to all your staff  - they were patient and managed to get through to even the most 'difficult' children, thus making camp a positive experience for all concerned. October 2006

"We were only home in Auckland for about 10 minutes before the kids were saying they missed camp already! Jeff was absolutely brilliant with the kids and we really appreciated all the work he did with then. He considered all the kids and provided them with experiences that many of them will never get again. I want to thank you all for providing such brilliant facilities for our city kids. You have a fantastic set up and I fully recommend it to anyone" September 2005
