Lakewood Lodge is situated in the beautiful North Waikato countryside half way between Auckland and Hamilton, just one hour south of Auckland
We aim to allow people to experience the love and companionship of horses, overcome their fears, learn some general points of horsemanship and to extend their ability
We take the riders across quiet country landscapes, through elegant groves of pines, weeping willow trees and along our tranquil waterways. Throughout this equestrian experience, we hope to instill in people a new found appreciation and understanding of horses.
General points of horsemanship will be taught through basic activities and lessons from our friendly and experienced instructors. All safety precautions are undertaken.
Please Note: There is a weight restriction on riders of 100 kg for all our horses.
One hour treks: $40.00 per person
Two hour treks: $70.00 per person (Usually a trek & arena lesson or games)
